Lots 'O Pictures from KY

Fun with cousin Delaney!

I'm a big boy now!
At the Cincinnati Zoo
You're a great babysitter, cousin Katie!

I fell asleep just before the Cat House!
It's been a fun visit Nana and Papaw! (and Ben!)
Uncle Chris
Papaw and Uncle Robby
We sure did have a good (and busy time in Kentucky). I think Gabe's favorite part was Ben (the dog). Everytime Ben was around, Gabe would watch him and laugh. (No, this does not mean we need to get a dog). Gabe did great once again on the airplane and adjusting to sleeping in a new environment. We were supposed to come home on Tuesday, but our flight was cancelled. We didn't mind staying an extra day too much. We're thrilled to be home and have been busy catching up with things.

More pictures of Gabe eating (and drinking?)

Mountain Dew is OK for babies, right?

Eating real food is fun!

Yes mommy, I am old enough to feed myself.

Great...

Gabe's first food!

We tried Gabe out on some cereal today and boy was he ready! He is always watching us eat and drink and trying to reach for our things, so I guess it shouldn't have surprised me! I'm not sure how much actually got swallowed, but he knows what to do with the spoon already.

Trip to Green Bay

Here are a few pictures from our trip up north. I wish I had more, but I didn't take as many as I should have. Hopefully I can get some from Grandma and Grandpa and maybe some other relatives soon. Gabe met some 60 relatives this past week! He did great traveling on the airplane and being in different place. He was a little fussy today. It could be because he's getting his first tooth, or because he misses his grandparents (I think I know which one they would think!)

Trip to Nasher Sculture Center

News flash!!! Gabriel slept 9 straight hours without a peep last night! (from 9:30-6:30). Unfortunately, mom didn't sleep quite that long, but I'm not complaining! Let's just hope this is the start of a pattern, not just an anomaly.

Here are a few pictures from our trip to the Nasher Sculpture Center in downtown Dallas from Saturday.

Happy Fourth of July!

Hope everyone had a good holiday! Here are a few pictures of our cutie experiencing his first fireworks!

Here is what he looked like at the beginning of the fireworks.

Here is what he looked like by the end of the fireworks. I completely underestimated how exhausted he was. I couldn't believe he fell asleep!

However, as soon as I got him inside and put him to bed, he woke up crying of course. He didn't actually go to sleep until after 11 PM. So why did he wake up at 2:00... and 4:00... and 7:00. Silly boy.
Anyway, here is a picture of him earlier in the day with his flag outfit on.

And here is a promised picture of him learning to sit up by himself. He sat up on a blanket outside all by himself for about 30 seconds yesterday! He is doing so good! (Sorry about the redeye!)
