Big news!

Well, we have entered yet another new phase: Gabe pulled himself up for the first time today. Sigh...my baby can stand up!

Merry (early) Christmas to Gabe!

I think he likes the chair! (We'll just have to make sure he doesn't fall out of it onto the hard floor). =) At the end of the video, after I said "say thank you to Nana and Papaw", he made a sound that sounded like "Thanks!". Unfortunatly, I cut the video camera off just a second too early.

November

Helping out with the laundry? Well, his first picture in a longaberger basket anyway. Enjoy, Nana!

Brushing his teeth (he cries every night when I take the toothbrush away from him). So sad.
Lots of drool! But I love him anyway. =)

Handsome Gabe

Enjoy pictures of Gabe on his first day of work! Oops, I mean, we were going to church. =)

Happy Halloween!

If this isn't the cutest lion you've ever seen, I challenge you to find a cuter one. He stayed in his costume for all of about 10 minutes and ate no candy. =)

We had a couple friends over and ate pizza while we gave out candy to the neighborhood kids. After dinner we played "Killer Bunnies". Fun game! Hope everybody had a great day!

More video (Gabe crawling!)

Here is Gabe in his jumparoo! He likes to be in here for a few minutes at a time. I keep it in the kitchen so he can be in it while I am getting food ready.

Here is some video of Gabe crawling (sort of). With our wood floors and pants on, he does more scooting than crawling. He's gotten pretty fast in the last couple of days. It seems his favorite place to go is the kitchen for some reason. He does like to try to grab the cats food bowls, but he responds pretty well when I tell him "no".

Gabe just went down for his morning nap. He cried for a minute or two and now he is jabbering to himself. Later this morning, we are headed to the Dr. Gabe's leg has been kind of popping and even though it doesn't seem to bother him, we're going to go get it checked out. I'll report back later.

Below is Gabe's 8 month picure with the elephant. Time flies faster than I ever thought it could.

Do you think Gabe has enough toys? And can you believe Linus is resting so peacefully with Gabe so near? I hope he knows his life is going to change yet again when Gabe learns to stand up and walk!

Testing video

My first experience with video. Will post more if this works!
