May

Jensens - you commented awhile ago that you would like it even better if there were two of Gabe. Well, this is as close as you are going to get. Enjoy. =)
Not a great picture, but he looked cute in the outfit, so I had to try.
His favorite new thing to do is to climb up in his rocking chair by himself and look at books. I turned on his music the other day and then walked away to do something. When I came back he was standing in the middle of his rug dancing. He stopped as soon as he saw me and gave me a big grin. It was so funny.

Out for a walk in his new (to him) wagon. He loves to ride in here!

At the zoo with daddy yesterday morning while mommy was at a church breakfast. Apparently he is no longer afraid of these bronze statues (not that you can tell by this face).

Holding flowers for Mother's Day. Thanks Nana and Papaw. I had a great day today. We went out to Outback for lunch and then we all took a nap this afternoon. We spent a little time at the park this evening and now the little tyke is in bed. I guess it's time to catch up on a few episodes of Lost. Good night!

April

My little climber:

He loves his new balls! (Can you tell?) Thanks Casey and Emma! The only problem he has is how to hold on to all three of them at once!

Our new bathroom floor. Hooray!

The many faces of Gabe

We did a lot this weekend, but I didn't seem to get very good pictures of Gabe. I did get some funny face pictures, so I will at least post those.

They had a member night at the zoo on Friday night. The weather wasn't great, but the show went on anyway! So Gabe had his first ride on the carousel. He didn't want to ride the horse by himself, so mom hopped on. As you can see, he still wasn't sure what to make of it.

On Saturday afternoon, we went to an art show in Ft. Worth. We had a nice time walking around there for a couple of hours. Then we decided to have dinner at P.F. Changs and luckily it was nice enough to eat outside. Gabe liked the egg rolls.

He also liked the fortune cookie. He wanted to show it to you. Here he is in his cute Sunday outfit. Sometimes the hat stayed on, sometimes it didn't.
This is right after he pulled it off his head and was laughing hysterically at himself. He thinks he's really funny.

Easter and various projects

My handsome little man in his Easter outfit.
In our backyard that afternoon, trying to catch bubbles.

Out for a walk after dinner.

Bathtime: we're finally out of the baby bathtub and into the regular tub. No smile here, but there were plenty of smiles.

And finally, one of the projects we've been working on - a new tile floor and newly installed vanity.

More videos!

Here is some more video of Gabe walking. We didn't get a really great video last time, plus he has improved in a short amount of time. He is walking almost everywhere now.

Gabe has also taken to "dancing" recently. Why am I humming a Christmas song? Well, because I haven't put my Christmas CD's away and that was the first CD I grabbed when we were trying to get him to dance. Of course he wouldn't do it when we were trying to get him to do it, so then when he finally started dancing, I just started singing so he would keep doing it. Ok, long explanation over. Enjoy... watch Gabe, not me.

And again, this one is just funny. He cracks me up. =)

Cute pictures

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a picture of the first rose bud of the season. Well, if anyone is interested, here is the same rose in full bloom. Now there are a dozen little buds waiting to bloom.
Mom (Jean), Gabe loves to use the lamb you gave him as a pillow. It's pretty cute. I guess everyone knows by now that it is me (Susan) that keeps this blog going (though Nathan is very supportive) =)

Our little weight-lifter is getting an early start. =) I love that face!
Uncle Chris and Aunt Emily, he loves his George!
This toy bin is getting an awful lot of use. Unfortunately, not holding toys.
