OK, these are not in the order I intended them, but I don't have time to change it now. Sorry! Our favorite present is under the tree. =) Gabe and Linus both like the same box (but not at the same time). This next picture is a little blurry, but I added it because it was a good smile.
Time to visit with Santa! This took place at our church this morning. Our very own Santa (a.k.a. John Brown) was there to visit with children. Gabe did pretty well. He wasn't too sure at first, so momma had to convince him that Santa was not a scary stranger. Maybe we should have just shoved him in santa's lap and let him cry? Those pictures are always classic. =)
The joys of lunch with a toddler. Gabe mostly enjoyed the meatballs out of his spaghettios, even though the pasta was in the shape of Lightning McQueen.
I felt like there were too many good pictures here to choose from...so sorry if you get bored looking through these. Gabe had a great time with his cousins, as you will see. with cousin Jake, playing choo-choo's. Jake and Delaney Gabe and Ross They were all together for Katie's 9th birthday. Above, she is opening a card from Delaney. Gabe and Irah (6 months apart, almost the exact same size) Gabe did not want to wear this fire hat, so he decided it was "Ben's hat" Katie looks annoyed here, but she wasn't (right, Katie?) Jake didn't want a kiss Delaney and Irah at their home in Alexandria An exceptionally good picture of Popaw and Ross Awww, sweet picture of Gabe and Irah Back to Texas we go!
This morning we took a field trip to our local fire station. The firefighters were very kind to us and gave us a great tour. Gabe became a junior firefighter and got some stickers to prove it.
Gabe did NOT want to sit inside the truck, but we somehow managed to get this picture where it actually looked like he was smiling. He also refused to put the fireman hat on.
Looking out at the fire truck. Gabe standing in front of the fire truck. Gabe wanting me to get a picture of "Big George too". This truck was outside because they had just gotten back from a run to the grocery store.
