airport, more goodies, and gabe's new giraffe
Getting off the elevator at the airport
Running through the big terminal
One last goodbye to grandma
Playing with his new truck, scoop.
Eating some strawberries and whip cream

Gabe's growth chart that his daddy made for him. Will we ever be as tall as this? (it is taller than I am)
He has not grown much in the last 6 months.

walk and birthday cupcake
Out for a walk/ride on Sunday. We took a few slices of bread to feed the ducks. Gabe said "here you go, duck" without fail every time he threw a piece of bread.

Gabe enjoying his birthday cupcake tonight from Buca di Beppo. He mostly tried to eat the sprinkles off of it. They sang to him and everything and even brought us adults a large piece of cheesecake. I think that was mostly to make up for ignoring us the whole meal though. Happy birthday, Gabe! I think it's over...finally...right?

critterman, free pretzels and a new tool set!
Today, they had a free animal show at the Galleria. This is Critterman. He brought a ferret, a sugar glider, a rabbit, a tortoise and a few others. Our friend Emma, and a 7 year old boy she was watching were there with us.

This is the mall playground that was right by where the show took place. Samuel and Gabe had fun (separately for the most part) playing. I did get this one picture where they were next to each other. =)

It was also (conveniently) free pretzel day at Auntie Annes! They took a picture of Gabe eating his pretzel. Hopefully it turned out better than this one. Maybe it'll show up on the website!
Today we also gave Gabe his inexpensive tool set that I bought a few weeks ago. Here he is showing off a couple of his new tools. He's just like Bob the Builder now! (minus the talking trucks).

February 2010
Gabe at Dallas Comic Con. We found a free CARS comic book shortly after walking in the door, so he was happy. He was not the only kid there, but there weren't too many.
Football "cake balls" that I made for the super bowl.
The biggest winter storm Texas has seen in decades! We had nearly a foot in one day.

Nathan's new car. These are a little out of order, I guess. We got the car before the snow.

Valentine banquet at church with a Polynesian theme (hence the lei). The men cook, serve, clean up, etc...
Back home after being in KY for a few days. Gabe will enjoy being back in his own bed tonight, I'm sure!
