trip to Green Bay

Playing the fall leaves...something we can't really do here in Texas!

Sleeping in his "big boy" bed (thanks for giving it up Uncle Matt!). And he only fell out once!
Walking to the park with Grandpa

Do you think Gabe got enough attention?

Sorry for the multiple swing pictures. He was having a blast!

Sunday night Packer game!!!! Soooo much fun!

Gabe's dinosaur costume

It's almost complete! I'm pretty proud that I went from sewing a poorly constructed purse to a poorly constructed dinosaur costume. =) All that's left to do (since Gabe doesn't want the headpiece) is to put elastic in the wrists and attach the feet. He'll be such a cute dinosaur. =)

October so far...

I think you can see why I have been too busy to blog lately! So here's a quick catch up. My dad came down to visit last week and we went to the Pumpkin Farm after church on Sunday. It was a beautiful day!

This was a barrel ride. Gabe enjoyed this.

Hayride

On Tuesday, we took the train to the fair. We had to wait a few minutes for the train, so we took some pictures with this funny statue that is near the train station.

Gabe rode a few rides at the fair. He never looks happy on the rides, but he enjoys them.

Bumper cars with daddy (daddy's poor knees).
Petting and feeding the animals
Playing peek a boo

Yesterday we went to Six Flags with a few kids from the youth group. Gabe again enjoyed some rides. He did great even without any nap.
Lunchtime!

relaxing

Gabe enjoying a pop tart and watching Chuggington on my bed
Gabe's new best buddy, Ernie. He had to "earn" Ernie as a potty prize for staying dry all day. He is doing well with potty training. He even stayed dry all night twice this week! He still hasn't gone poo poo on the potty yet. Ahhh!

sandbox and sewing

Here is our "ghetto" sandbox (as Nathan thinks of it). I happen to think it is brilliant. Re-purposing an underbed organizer seems better to me than spending money on something that we don't need. =) Gabe loves it.

His cheesy "smile for the camera" smile.
I've been on a bit of a sewing kick lately. I'm learning a little each day. Here are a couple of purses that I made.

And some dinosaur pajama pants for Gabe.
