4 months old!

Here is a new pic of Gabe with his elephant at 4 months old!

And also another picture of him in the outfit he wore to church today with a great smile! Jensen's, you will be seeing this smiling face (I hope) soon!

We've had a busy couple of days. We had a great time at the waterpark yesterday. We went with a church group, so there were some willing hands to hold Gabe so Nathan and I could have a little adult time on the slides. We had a nice day today. Nathan got a lot of little projects done around the house and I got in a pretty good nap with Gabe after church. He actually slept for a couple of hours! That is VERY rare.

Variety is the Spice of Life

Here is adorable Gabe at the waterpark yesterday in his new float. He is a little small for it still, but doesn't he look cool? He can't really sit up in it yet, so he just kind of lays back and relaxes. The water felt great yesterday.

Here is Gabe pushing up with straight arms! Today, when he was laying on his boppy, he was pulling up onto his knees! This boy is not going to stay immobile long if he can help it. I don't know if I'm ready for him to start crawling! Oh my how life is going to change. I don't think I have to worry too much just yet though.

Here is just a cute picture of adorable Gabe. His eyes seem to be getting a little darker. He may end up with a piece of mommy yet!

Daddy and I had some fun taking pictures again today. I had just as much trouble getting a picture of daddy as I did Gabe. I could not get both of them to cooperate with me at the same time. Ha ha, sorry Nathan.

I'll let you put your own caption on these pictures. Gabe's face is just too priceless. Way to go, daddy. Make the baby worry.

Playtime!

Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment. Gabe is really reaching for things that are put in front of him now and of course everything goes right into his mouth. =) We have had a bit of a busy week. Gabe is having a babysitter tonight while mommy and daddy go out to a movie. =) Tomorrow evening, Gabe
and I are going over to the Graham's to babysit.

Nathan's first Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there! I believe I can speak for Nathan and say that he enjoyed his. He didn't quite get breakfast in bed, but he did get a hot breakfast and that's more than he can say for most days! Gabe got all gussied up for church and wore his first pair of shoes! (for about 20 minutes). Thanks Aunt Kim!

If Gabe could talk: "I'm not sure I like these things on my feet. But mommy sure does think I'm handsome!"

Here is a wonderful picture of Gabe and his daddy at Outback Steakhouse:

If Gabe could talk: "Boy, that steak looks good. I wish I could eat steak. Ahhh, someday..."

Popaw's visit

Popaw (Susan's dad) came to visit us this past Sunday through
Wednesday. We were thrilled to see him and had a great time. On Monday, we went to the Dallas Arboretum, but of course Gabe slept the whole time we were there!

On Tuesday, we spent most of the afternoon at the hotel in the hot tub (yes, the hot tub). No, it was not very hot...and the pool was VERY cold. Gabe always seems very fascinated with water. And mommy enjoyed it since she hasn't been in a hot tub since before she was pregnant!

Popaw got some really cute pictures of Gabe in his Jumparoo! Gabe is really starting to figure out and enjoy using it!
