Here is what he looked like by the end of the fireworks. I completely underestimated how exhausted he was. I couldn't believe he fell asleep!
However, as soon as I got him inside and put him to bed, he woke up crying of course. He didn't actually go to sleep until after 11 PM. So why did he wake up at 2:00... and 4:00... and 7:00. Silly boy.
Anyway, here is a picture of him earlier in the day with his flag outfit on.
And here is a promised picture of him learning to sit up by himself. He sat up on a blanket outside all by himself for about 30 seconds yesterday! He is doing so good! (Sorry about the redeye!)

Wow, I am really impressed by the sitting up! Also, I sympathize about the not sleeping...some kids are just not good sleepers, for whatever reason. :( It's the price we pay for the joy of having them, I suppose!
Don't worry, I've been reading :) Yes, it was fun to have Kris come and be here! Wish is had been longer, though. Have a good week!
